Hi All:

Check out the new Norse report presentation. Of note, page 10 shows the acreage sold in their latest transaction. page 7 shows how they would break their acreage up in Utica drilling units. Enjoy.

surprised to see tiny pockets of sold acreage above the Rt 206 line - any guesses as to the significance?
has anyone been to the county lately to see who these are transferring to???

Virt: I believe those are the properties that Norse previously owned outright. My trips to the county have yet to produce solid answers.

Clearly mainly Marcellus acres from Norse to Hartz (NRPLP).
When I compare with http://www.albrechtai.com/divestments/N ... ochure.pdf it seems that it generally are leases with late expirering. Can anyone confirm that?
NRPLP do not develop the acres themselves and have not updated their homepage to include NY.

But could it be the real estate part of the Hartz group?

Hartz as... in once owners of Hartz animal collars and other businesses. After divesting of their businesses they have found investing in shale gas to be the next step.
After all picking up 150 million for 27 million. Question is will they be a player? Will they flip or use it as an entry level?
Hartz has been very active in Pa.
