October 15th Rally - Stand for Your Rights, or Sit and Wait!

Dear CNY Friends:

This Rally in Albany is happening at the most critical time in our four and a half year existence as a coalition. This is the time when NY needs a true leader who can support the DEC and "Man Up" to the challenges at hand. This is the time when NY needs a leader with vision and the ability to run concurrent studies to bring a swift and decisive conclusion to this drilling debate that is dividing NY citizens. And sadly, this is the time when Governor Cuomo is playing politics with the issue of drilling.

The Governor's nonchalant attitude toward the hardships of Upstate NY is nauseating and can no longer be tolerated! Cuomo gives the impression that this debate will linger indefinitely and he will continue to delay if we don't stand together to let Him know how passionate we are for our rights as landowners.

OCTOBER 15TH - WE NEED YOU!!!!
The Governor needs to see that we are a huge force in favor of responsible drilling. We must have a massive showing to this rally in Albany and that requires us all to show up - no exceptions and no excuses.

WE WILL MAKE IT EASY FOR YOU!
The Rally will be only a couple hours long and will occur in the middle of the day. Busses are leaving from all over the state to help cut down on your expenses. Donuts and a boxed lunch will be provided for all who ride the busses.

SIGN UP FOR A BUS RIDE TO ALBANY.
Go to www.landowneradvocatesny.org to sign up for a bus location near you. We will have a couple of busses leaving from Norwich. If you want to leave from Norwich, call 607.859.2395 and Steve Gage will reserve your spot.

SET ASIDE THE DATE - FINAL DETAILS WILL FOLLOW THIS WEEKEND!
All the specifics (times, meeting places, etc.) will be emailed to you in just a few days. If you ride a bus, your bus captain will lead your group directly to the rally starting point. Just mark the date on your calendar and plan to stand with us.

PLEASE DON’T LEAVE THIS TO OTHERS TO DO. Fight for your rights and the rights of all landowners by going to Albany on October 15th. One day could mean the world for your future! I’ll be there – will you?

In this together,

I looked at the date of this and yes damn it, it has been 6 years since we even tried to splash the puddle. Let us put forth the effort to rally at the "Good Morning America" studio in NY, NY. How appropriate, GOOD MORNING AMERICA! It would almost be as good as Robin Williams in his roll exclaiming GOOD MORNING VIETNAM!

Any day is good for me; but if we maximize, we can look at what day Monday thru Friday would get the most of us smiling and having something to smile about.

Well I guess NYC was too far for everyone. What the Hades, he will OK it soon. Now that soon has come and gone, is anyone a little more awake yet? So the new Good Morning America is Good Evening Binghamton where we will be lucky to get mentioned on the back page of the high school newspaper, let alone the biased local tabloid. The new date approaches, January 5, 2015 , that's only 8 days away.

So January 5, 2015, stand for your rights or keep living in some sort of dream world. I have copied your list Vic and feel it's a good one; but no matter where a car is bought, if it comes into this state for registration, sales taxes are collected. The state might lose taxes from corporate/business profits; but you are right, start hitting them where it hurt's, the wallet. Trading Places.

See you in Binghamton, January 5, 2015 @ 4PM.
