A co-worker of mine with land in Masonville,,in Deleware County, was just offered $2,411.00 an acre and 15% royalties by XTO. This was their initial offer! The contract was for 5 years with an option for the gas company to renegotiate a 2 year extension. He signed.

Jawk,

I am east of syracuse and was approached in november with the same offer you got. It was from Salt city resources or something like that. Definitely dont settle for something that low. I am waiting for several thousand per acre, might take 5 years, but it would be worth it.
